We then drive north through the flat landscape of Holland passing windmills from a bygone era, to visit the picturesque village of Volendam. Drive through idyllic landscapes, crisscrossed canals, see authentic wooden houses and visit the old fashioned cheese making farm. Witness a demonstration of how cheese is made. Watch a shoemaker make clogs and wooden shoes carved out of wooden blocks. You also have a chance to savour some authentic Dutch cheese.
